Really getting away from it all for a week or longer, is the best to recharge batteries. Imagine getting on a plane and disembarking at a tropical overseas destination, that is bliss. Get yourself a much-deserved break from everything.

Fiji seems to be a very popular destination amongst our mums. It is beautiful and tropical and not too far away. They mentioned a couple of hotels/resorts that they specifically like:

• The Naviti Resort Fiji – our mums love this resort for its kids club, the nannies and for it to overall be a very child friendly place.
• The Warwick Fiji – there is so much to do, according to our mums.
• Sheraton Fiji Resort on Denerau Island – our mums love the outstanding baby sitting services and say that it is very cheap still.
• Castaway Island Fiji – great for families and kids, according to our mums.
• Outrigger Fiji beach resort – popular amongst our mums for its amazing nanny services and overall being fantastic with kids.
• Intercontinental Fiji Golf Resort and Spa – our mums cannot fault the nanny service and kids club.

Cook Islands – a little bit further but still well within reach and a beautiful tropical destination. Our mums specifically mentioned the Pacific Resort Rarotonga. They say it is fantastic, great for families and offers good babysitting services.

Thailand – probably one of the easiest countries to travel in Asia with lots of great accommodation, great food and well organised tourism activities.
