Take-Out For A Lazy Night

WHY NEED THIS

No Time To Cook

Cooking can be a relaxing and satisfying experience when you have time to do it and can concentrate on creating a delicious meal. Unfortunately, everyday life of a mum is not often like that. We will almost always have a child hanging on our legs, whinging for something or getting into something dangerous or naughty. All that does not give you the time and mindset to create a masterpiece. Our meals need to be quick, easy to prepare and preferably leave one hand free to hold baby, clean a face, grab a toy or whatever else you need to be doing at the same time. Multitasking is a mum’s way of life and cooking often shows at the bottom of the list of priorities.

Delicious Meal Delivered To Your Door

When you forgot to take out the meat from the freezer, when you did not get any time for the groceries or when you are simply to exhausted to get into cooking, take out is a great go to option. How lucky are we that these options exist nowadays. A great meal is just a phone call away and can be at your door within 30 minutes. The options are endless too: Thai, Indian, Vietnamese, Italian, burgers, sushi, etc. There will be always something that will please your tastebuds. Where in the old days take out was unhealthy and greasy, it does not have to be anymore; there are healthy options too. So no need to worry if you did not feel like cooking today, order something nice.

The Take-Out Our Mums Really Love

Our mums order take out for convenience at times, but also as a treat to themselves. No need to cook and a delicious, hearty meal. They shared their favourites:

  • Pizza – who does not like a warm pizza with lots of melted cheese and great toppings like prosciutto, mushrooms, tomatoes and herbs? A nice woodfired pizza or any regular pizza, will always be a nice comfort food.
  • Thai – beautifully presented, lots of colours and fresh veggies and herbs are some of the success factors of Thai food. Rich flavours and generally very healthy as well. No wonder that our mums order some Thai now and then.
  • Vietnamese – hearty soups (Pho), delicious grilled meats and lots of fresh veggies and herbs. A feel-good meal should be easy to find at a Vietnamese restaurant.
