When you are tired and need some time away from it all, make sure you get some time to recharge your batteries. There are several ways to do this. Our mums like to exercise to empty their heads and strengthen their bodies to be able to cope with everyday life. They also love to get into activities that will take their mind of everyday tasks and worries. They shared what they love to do to feel like they can take on everything again. And best of all of course is taking a holiday, a weekend away or just a night without the kids. Sounds good? Then read on to see what suggestions our mums have.

The Ways Our Mums Like To Recharge Their Batteries
- Hotel stay – even one night at a hotel might already feel like a vacation. Many of our mums love this, even solo.
- Mini holiday – go for a pampering/spa day and sleep at a local hotel, that will surely get you in the holiday mood.
- Dinner and drinks – spent some time with friends and have dinner at a favourite or new place and a few more drinks afterwards.
- Shopping – no not the regular groceries that you are shopping for all the time, go clothes shopping and treat yourself to a great new outfit. You will feel like new when you are wearing it.
- Kids free day – if you are lucky enough to have someone able to take care of your kids, organise a kids free day for yourself or even better, with a friend. Plan all those things that you have been dreaming off. Or just stay in bed, order the foods you love and binge watch your favourite series. All fine, as long as you feel like you have been away from it all.
- Things you cannot do with kids – there might be a few you can think of, but our mums mentioned how they love to go for a drive alone with the music pumping. The good old days!
