Starting Solids

From 6 months of age your baby needs additional food to get enough iron. It is recommended to start them on solids from this age onwards, but some mums like to start from 4 months or even earlier (although not recommended). Our mums used baby led weaning techniques [link] or pureed babies food. Annabel Karmel is their preferred author when it comes to baby purees. Her book [link] is a bestseller amongst mums who start their babies on food. Check out the recipes here that our mums like using for their babies when starting solids.
