Apple, Pear and Cinnamon Puree

Easy for little tummies to digest, apple & pear is an ideal first food combo. Choose apples like Pink Lady or Royal Gala for a sweet taste.

Serves 6

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 dessert apples
  • 2 ripe pears (such as Conference)
  • 4 tbsp pure unsweetened apple juice or water
  • generous pinch of ground cinnamon (optional)

Instructions

  • 1.   Put the fruit into a saucepan together with apple juice or water and pinch of cinnamon (if using), cover and cook over a low heat until tender (about 6 to 8 minutes).
  • 2.   Blend the fruit to a smooth puree.
