INGREDIENTS
- 8 sausages
- 1 tablespoon oil
- ½ onion, chopped
- ½ banana, chopped
- 1 tomato, chopped
- ½ apple, chopped
- 2 tablespoons plain flour
- 1 tablespoon curry powder
- 1 litre stock
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 tablespoon chutney
- 1 tablespoon tomato sauce
- 1 tablespoon tomato paste
- 1 tablespoon redcurrant jelly
- Salt and peper
Instructions
- 1. Cook the sausages in a large frying pan until done, then set aside.
- 2. In the same pan, heat the oil and fry the vegetables and fruit until browned. Add flour and curry powder and cook until browned. Add stock and remaining ingredients and stir until boiling, then reduce heat and simmer for 30 minutes.
- 3. Cut cooked sausages into pieces or leave while, as desired, and add to the sauce. Simmer until warmed through.
